The desire is to create art that inspires the imagination and creates a vibrant and joyful environment for babies and children to nuture and grow.
The Artist
Davey Morgan gives credit to God for his fun talent! Drawing has been a passion of his since he was a child, starting off drawing Sonic and Mario. His passion grew for illustration while in college. He graduated with a B.A. in Visual Art from Erskine College.
He draws inspiration from comic books, anime, animated movies, Welsh culture, traveling abroad, children's books, and music videos.
He currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife, Marissa, his boys, Ansel and Harrison, and his two cats, Frankie and Ting Ting.
The Process
The art is created digitally with a Wacom tablet in Adobe Illustrator and then made into canvas at a professional lab. Other merchandise is designed and created in a similar way. Davey loves to experiment with many different styles, mediums, and other forms of art including 3D modeling, 3D printing, crocheting, graphite, inking, jewelry making, knitting, photography, printmaking, pyrography, watercolor, and woodworking.
